Description
In his book Rock and Roll Will Save Your Life, Steve Almond writes, “The only thing wrong with music, as far as I’m concerned, is that you cannot eat it.” The good news - ever since The Beatles started bringing visuals to their music in the mid ‘60s - is that we can see it.
If you’ve made a film, 30 minutes or under, which makes music observable, give it the chance to be seen worldwide.
From rockumentary to musical, if your short demonstrates how powerful music is, how profound its effects can be on the world, this is the contest for you.
We also seek short films about music shot in 360. If you submit a 360 video, be sure to mark that your video is 360 when you upload your film.
HOW THE WINNERS ARE DETERMINED: From the first round of live audience and jury voting on The Audience Awards platform, the top 3 films with the most votes and the top 4 in-house jury-selected films move to a finals round. The finalist films are then judged by an esteemed panel of industry jurors. The top three final jury winners from the finals round will screen at Audfest 2019 in Los Angeles and compete for our prestigious Best of Fest Audience Award where we award over $100K in cash and prizes.
