Description
WINNING PHOTOS will be published in the November 2018 issue of Photographer’s Forum.All contest finalists, top 8% of all entries, will be published in the hardcover book Best of Photography 2018.
ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to all amateur photographers in the United States, Canada, and around the world.

- No limit to quantity of entries
- Rights remain with photographer
- Subject matter is open
PUBLICATION
Photographer’s Forum reserves the right to publish all contestwinners and finalists.
NOTIFICATION
- Finalists notified by July 27, 2018.
- Winners notified by August 10, 2018.
TO ENTER ONLINE
- Minimum Image Dimensions: 1,000 pixels x 1,000 pixels
- Maximum Image Dimensions: 6,000 pixels x 6,000 pixels
- Allowable File Types: JPG, PNG and GIF
- Color Space should be Adobe1998, sRGB or untagged color space
- Maximum File Size: 6 Mb
- Do not upload photos with watermark names, image frames or borders.
- All Uploaded Entries are FINAL and Cannot be Replaced, Deleted or Edited by Photographer’s Forum Magazine
TO ENTER BY MAIL
- Enter black & white or color prints or slides.
- Prints must be unmounted 9×12 or smaller.
- Label every photo with your name and address, and indicate which edge is the top.
- Make checks payable to Photographer’s Forum.
- All entries must include payment, entry form, and photographs.
- If sending prints or slides, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of work.
- Photos will be returned after 9/4/2018. Work with no SASE will be discarded.

International Open Call - Duo/Solo Show in Rome:
We are looking for two photographers to be featured in our summer exhibition in Millepiani in Rome. The theme is open for this edition. We seek photographers with personal and compelling ways of seeing. We look for work that moves beyond familiar aesthetics and well-worn visual trends, without the need to conform to a specific tone, genre, or model. What matters most is a distinct perspective capable of shifting how we engage with images and ideas we may think we already know.
