Han transcurrido más de 125 años desde el nacimiento del Grupo Editorial Edelvives y con energías renovadas ha traspasado las fronteras. Aquella pequeña editorial fundada en Cataluña a finales del siglo XIX ha ido creciendo para llegar hasta el otro lado del océano e instalarse en México y en Argentina.
Description
The contest is organised by Edelvives, a publishing firm specialising in children's and juvenile literature.Each participant may submit a maximum of two projects of a picture book: a book in which the story is told through images and text, which complement each other.
The topic of the project is open.
The total length must be 32 pages.
The size is open, but may not be smaller than 18.5 x 21 cm or larger than 30 x 39 cm.
The text may not exceed 6,000 keystrokes, or characters with spaces.
The prize will be awarded to the best editorial project for a picture book submitted, not to a finished work.

The prize
$10 522The amount of the prize will be calculated based on the royalties stipulated in the publishing contracts. The prize will be divided between the illustrator and author, with a 70/30 split.
