ArtPrize is a non-profit art organization that hosts an annual international art competition in Grand Rapids, MI.
Description
ArtPrize is an international art competition that takes place in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, from September 14th - October 1st. ArtPrize awards over $400,000 directly to artists through both popular and juried voting. ArtPrize also distributes over $200,000 in annual artist grants. Public Vote Grand Prize
$125 000The grand prize for the public vote award is $125,000, second place is $50,000, and third place is $25,000.

$20 000The juried awards are broken into five categories, 2D, 3D, Installation, Time-Based, and Digital. Each category's first-place winner takes home $20,000, and the honorable mention takes home $5,000.

$15 000ArtPrize is committed to supporting, engaging, and recognizing contemporary artists from underrepresented communities and demographics who exemplify excellence in their work. The Visibility Awards recognize artists from Black, Indigenous, Latino, and Asian communities, and artists from the LGBTQIA+ community.
