The “Cityscapes Photography VIPA 2017” competition is suitable for participants from around the world, which can take part with their best photos on the topic.

VIPA 2017 is a competition open to professional and amateur photographers worldwide. The competition includes 6 main categories with 24 contests: People, Advertising, Nature, Architecture, Reportage and Special.

All the competitions will be held in 1 round. The photographer who has the highest total score in 4 contests from 1 category will become a category winner.

Cities are not only home to many people’s residences, businesses and offices – they are also full of energy, power and vitality. There are many things that make a city great and capturing the true essence of a city in one single photograph is a very hard thing to do.

The main thing that defines a city can actually differ depending on the time of the day and even the season. During the morning, cities can look peaceful and calm, whilst during the evening or night-time they can come alive with activity and purpose.

Most of the people that call a particular city home, don’t take the time to stop and marvel at the magnificent landmarks and sights that make their own home city, such a wonderful place to be a part of.

A really good city photograph not only shows off the majestic buildings in the heart of the city center, but should also showcase some of the more fascinating aspects and delights that day-to-day city life has to offer.

Participate and win

Jury team of experts and users will vote for the best media. You will have the opportunity to influence the final result. Use virtual currency to purchase additional voices and promote your participation or that of your favorites.

Contest winner with the highest total score and the best photograph on 1st place will win the amazing 500 euro prize, plus 10% from the entry fee fund. All participants from 2nd to 20th place will receive an encouragement award of 50 WINGS.

What is WINGS?

VOUBS operates with its own virtual currency WINGS, which is added to your online wallet and through it, you pay the entry fees to participate. 1 WINGS equals € 0.32 euro.

Any registered user may participate by paying an entrance fee. To take part, you must have at least 20 WINGS in your virtual wallet (at a price of € 9.60 euro) for each photo (media). You can purchase virtual currency through PayPal and ePay.
