Imaginez vos futurs bureaux

Le concours Acier est ouvert chaque année à tous les étudiants des écoles françaises d’architecture ou d’ingénieurs. Ils participent seuls ou en équipe et éventuellement dans le cadre d’un enseignement, certains enseignants des écoles d’architecture choisissent en effet le sujet du concours pour leurs ateliers.

Programme

Afin de marquer visuellement leur identité professionnelle, il est proposé aux étudiants de créer des bureaux en acier destinés à accueillir leur atelier d’architecture ou leur bureau d’études, qu’ils pourront imaginer comme étant leur signature ou leur carte de visite.

Le site d’implantation du projet est choisi librement par chacun, dans une des deux options suivantes :

Création d’un immeuble de bureaux multi-étagés : le projet sera inséré dans un cœur de ville, en front de voirie, sur une parcelle de dimension moyenne, avec un objectif à la fois d’innovation et d’intégration dans un tissu urbain existant. L’atelier d’architecture ou le bureau d’études occupera une partie de cet immeuble qui pourra accueillir d’autres types d’activités.

Intégration dans un bâtiment existant à structure métallique, dans le cadre d’une reconversion. Avec un objectif de mise en valeur du patrimoine architectural ou industriel, il s’agit de se réapproprier un ancien bâtiment, le transformer et le redynamiser en y créant une structure nouvelle en acier, qui accueillera l’atelier d’architecture ou le bureau d’études.
