Description
ConstruirAcier organise son 10ème concours d’architecture Acier.
Ce concours est ouvert à tous les étudiants inscrits dans une école française d’architecture ou d’ingénieurs pour l’année 2011-2012 et désireux de mener un projet seul ou en équipe.
L’objectif est de donner aux étudiants l’opportunité de découvrir et d’apprécier les possibilités architecturales et techniques de l’acier en concevant un ouvrage avec ce matériau.
Grâce à ses performances (légèreté de ses structures, résistance élevée), l’acier est le matériau idéal de la construction, il permet de franchir de grandes portées et de construire dans des délais courts grâce à la préfabrication en ateliers.
SUJET
L’acier aux Jeux olympiques : imaginez un ou plusieurs équipements du parc olympique (stade d’athlétisme, salle indoor ou bâtiment du village des athlètes) en utilisant toutes les caractéristiques techniques et esthétiques de l’acier.
Ces équipements devront être pensés dans l’optique d’une reconversion après les Jeux.

Le site est le parc olympique de Londres.
PROGRAMME
Plusieurs possibilités sont offertes aux étudiants : concevoir un, deux ou les trois équipements du parc olympique.
