"DRAW Y-OUR FUTURE": EMERGENCY AND DESALL'S INTERNATIONAL CONTEST TO ENVISION A PEACEFUL FUTURE
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, EMERGENCY, in collaboration with Desall - a platform for innovation and crowdsourcing - has launched the "Draw Y-Our Future" competition. This global initiative targets students, young designers, and emerging talents.
Contestants are encouraged to create an illustration that incorporates the EMERGENCY logo, a red-circled "E," as the focal point. This serves as a creative springboard to depict a vision of a potential future, embodying the principles that have steered the organisation since 1994: peaceful coexistence among peoples, rights assured without discrimination, and a foundation of solidarity and mutual respect.
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA:
- The contest is free to enter and open to students, young designers, and emerging talents of any nationality, aged 18 and above.
- Entrants may submit one or more original, non-copyrighted images. The use of photographic content or AI-generated images is prohibited.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS:
- The winning illustration will be featured on a commemorative T-shirt and included in a collection of 12 T-shirts designed by world-renowned illustrators.
- The winner will receive the complete collection of celebratory T-shirts as a gift by the end of 2024.
- The winner's profile will be promoted in EMERGENCY and Desall's communication plans with international reach.
THE JURY: The panel includes Angela Fittipaldi, Coordinator of the Graphics Department at EMERGENCY; Max Casalini, architect and graphic designer; Guido Scarabottolo, architect and illustrator; Mauro Biani, cartoonist and illustrator; and Davide Scomparin, founder and CEO of Desall.
