L’une des cinq Académies composant l’Institut de France, l’Académie des beaux-arts encourage la création artistique dans toutes ses expressions et veille à la défense du patrimoine culturel français. Elle poursuit ses missions de soutien à la création par l’organisation de concours, l’attribution de prix, le financement de résidences d’artistes et l’octroi de subventions à des projets et manifestations de nature artistique en France et à l’étranger. Constituée autour de l’idée de pluridisciplinarité, la Compagnie réunit cinquante-neuf membres répartis au sein de huit sections artistiques, seize associés étrangers et cinquante-neuf correspondants.
Description
Créé en 1975, le Grand Prix d’Architecture est ouvert à tous les architectes et étudiants en architecture, n’ayant pas dépassé l’âge de 35 ans au 1er janvier de l’année en cours. Le jury, présidé par M. Paul Andreu, est composé des membres et des correspondants de la section d'architecture de l'Académie des beaux-arts.Jury
