MFKiG odbywa się co roku w październiku. To największa tego typu impreza w Polsce i Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. W 2015 roku festiwal odwiedziło blisko 20 tys. uczestników. Przyciąga ich do Łodzi wiele rzeczy – od możliwości spotkania najsłynniejszych twórców komiksowych, przez zakupy na stoiskach targowych, udział w warsztatach twórczych, turniejach gier i zwiedzanie wystaw, po zabawę na festiwalowych imprezach. Festiwal odbywa się w Łodzi od 1991 roku, a jego organizatorami są "EC1 Łódź - Miasto Kultury" w Łodzi oraz Stowarzyszenie Twórców „Contur”.

DescriptionThe contest is held annually as a part of the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź, Poland.
You may submit a short comic story, up to 8 pages (vertical, A4 or A3 size of paper). There is no theme.
The following techniques are allowed: drawing, painting, digital art and photography.
