Depuis 14 ans, la Fondation Wilmotte favorise la rencontre du patrimoine et de la création contemporaine à travers l’organisation du Prix W. Elle aide les jeunes architectes en organisant tous les deux ans un concours qui permet de les accompagner et de les sensibiliser à l'importance de la greffe architecturale.
Description
Concours européen d'architecture La Fondation d'entreprise Wilmotte lance cette année le concours Prix W afin de faire prendre conscience de l'importance de la greffe architecturale pour la préservation du patrimoine européen et son évolution xxx dans le monde contemporain.Le concours s'adresse aux étudiants et aux jeunes diplômés des écoles d'architecture européennes et a pour thème la renaissance d'un b?¢timent à forte valeur patrimoniale en vue d'accompagner sa destination. Les prix et bourses seront décernés par un jury international composé de professionnels, d'architectes, d'artistes et de journalistes de renom. Thème du concours 2006 Extension du château Barrière en vue d'un changement de destination : créer un lieu d'accueil à Périgueux d'une superficie comprise entre 500 et 600 m2 pour des rencontres et des expositions.
