Depuis 14 ans, la Fondation Wilmotte favorise la rencontre du patrimoine et de la création contemporaine à travers l’organisation du Prix W. Elle aide les jeunes architectes en organisant tous les deux ans un concours qui permet de les accompagner et de les sensibiliser à l'importance de la greffe architecturale.

Concours européen d'architectureLa Fondation d'entreprise Wilmotte renouvelle cette année le concours Prix W afin de faire prendre conscience de l'importance de la greffe architecturale pour la préservation du patrimoine européen et son évolution dans le monde contemporain.
Le concours s'adresse aux étudiants et aux jeunes diplômés des écoles d'architecture européennes. Le thème de cette année, la requalification d'une friche industrielle, propose une réflexion sur un patrimoine récent intégré dans un tissu urbain et paysagé.
Les prix et bourses seront décernés par un jury international composé de professionnels, d'architectes, d'artistes et de journalistes de renom.
Thème du concours 2007
Requalification de la minoterie Lepoivre à Saint-Venant dans le Pas-de-Calais (France - 62350).
Requalification d’une friche industrielle, la minoterie Lepoivre à Saint-Venant : créer un lieu de vie d’une superficie pouvant aller de 2000 m2 à 3000 m2 pour des rencontres et des expositions. Le bâtiment central est susceptible d’accueillir des entreprises renommées dans le domaine de l’eau, de l’environnement.
