The theme of this modern “art olympiad“is “energy“.
This theme is the symbol of a time. Energy, in all its forms, is indeed the central concern at the beginning of the XXst century. This concept ofenergy concerns us all, because we can, and we must think, design it, save it and invent it. Invent new energy that will help the worldgrow peacefully. These new energies await us.They are there, both hidden and under our eyes. Let us open our eyes to light, to harmony, toenergy, to physical and creative. Those who make it emerge in all its forms and in all fields are real artists!
SCULPTURE
This discipline is one of the earliest artistic expressions that was developed in ancient Greece, at the very time when the Greeks invented the “Olympiads of art” which we decided to revive. This is why we attach particular importance and attention to this discipline. Whether you’re a marble, wood or ice sculptor; an amateur or a professional, we will welcome you with open arms to participate in the Olymp’Arts where you can share your passion, talent and creativity, sharing with us your vision of universality in sculpture.
Rules
- This art is open to any styles and genres.
- The work and its excerpt must be created fully using manual tools.
- The work should be composed of two parts that compose the full work.
- The first part of the work will form the excerpt.
- Installation is not permitted.
- Audible supports are not permitted.
- The work and its excerpt must be presented as digital files.
Excerpt
- Three photographs from 3 different points of view of a part of the sculpture.
- The computing weight of the excerpt must not exceed 600 MB.
- There must be no signature of any kind that would allow to determine the artist or a group of artists.
Work
- Three photographs from 3 different points of view of the work in its entirety, two parts that compose the full work.
- The maximum size of the work is 120 cm in height (47,24 in).
- The computing weight of the work must not exceed 600 MB.
Rewards
3 Trophy
The three trophies awarded in each discipline will be of equal value and will reward the three finalist works at the same level, with no promotion of one of the three.Timeline
