International Mountain Summit – IMS brings together mountain lovers from all over the world. In Brixen, the entrance door to the South Tyrolean Dolomites a network of generations is building up. Passion and enthusiasm for mountains connect the host, the visitors and the participants.
Description
Over the past six years, more than 12,000 photographers from 112 countries have been competing among each other in order to achieve an award in one of the categories of the IMS Photo Contest. In this year’s edition of the greatest international contest of mountain photography, there are going to be more summits to reach than ever before. Photographers from all over the world can submit their pictures in six different categories. Any photo that is submitted in one of the categories also automatically takes part in the competition for the overall IMS Photo Award plus title Mountain Photo of the Year. The IMS Photo Contest 2017 will accept entries from 6th May 2017 12:00 pm/noon GMT+1 until 31st August 2017 12:00 pm/noon GMT+1. The total prize money is € 18,500.Entries
- Eligible for the IMS Photo Contest are professional and amateur photographers starting from the age of 14 (born before or on the 31st of August 2003). Excluded are jury members, members of the Eventus organizational committee, the SALEM-Frucht GmbH & Co. KG, sponsors and partners.
- Photographers under the age of 18 must provide a written release form (at least with the contents shown below), signed by the parent or legal guardian of the minor.
- Entries must be submitted by 31st August 2017, 12:00pm GMT+1.
- Even though submitting a picture automatically implies the consent of the participant with the Terms and Conditions of the IMS Photo Contest, it must be confirmed before submitting the pictures that the terms have been read and accepted.
- Images containing explicit nudity or vulgarity, violating public policy or accepted principles of morality will be excluded automatically from the contest

The fee is € 10 for the first photo, € 16 for two photos, € 21 for three photos, € 24 for four photos plus € 5 per photo for the any photo on top.
