Association loi 1901, ConstruirAcier a pour objectif de promouvoir l’utilisation de l’acier dans les ouvrages de construction du bâtiment et des travaux publics.
Description
Ces prix contribuent à faire connaître des œuvres architecturales variées et significatives, réalisées tout ou partie grâce au matériau acier. Les trophées Eiffel sont une distinction d’envergure nationale, attribuée par un jury indépendant, à des œuvres construites en France, conçues par des architectes sans restriction de nationalité.Ces prix s’inscrivent dans une perspective de promotion de l’architecture métallique et de ses concepteurs, architectes et ingénieurs. Ils ont aussi l’ambition de souligner les savoir-faire des entreprises de construction métallique et de métallerie et toutes les qualités du matériau acier.
Les trophées Eiffel sont au nombre de 6 et récompensent l’équipe d’un projet, chacun dans une des 6 catégories représentant une ou plusieurs fonctions d’usage.
Chaque prix se distingue par ses qualités de conception et de réalisation.
Les catégories sont les suivantes :
- FRANCHIR regroupe viaducs, ponts, passerelles et tout ouvrage de franchissement
- HABITER regroupe logements collectifs ou individuels
- TRAVAILLER regroupe immeubles de bureaux, bâtiments de production, de logistiques, de commerce...
- APPRENDRE regroupe tous les lieux d’enseignement publics ou privés, centre de formation, crèches...
- DIVERTIR regroupe stades, gymnases, salles de sport, équipements culturels...
- VOYAGER regroupe gares, aéroports, pôle de transport, parkings, téléphériques...
Un prix sera remis pour chacune de ces catégories sauf avis contraire du jury. Le jury se réserve le droit de changer un projet de catégorie si celle-ci ne correspond pas à la destination réelle de l’ouvrage.
L’association organise la promotion de ces prix à travers la revue d’architecture Acier et toutes ses publications, ses conférences ainsi que lors de différentes manifestations évènementielles.
Une exposition des lauréats sera organisée avec le concours des maisons d’architecture partenaires de ConstruirAcier.
