In 2017 we increased our commitment to creative talent by establishing the jj Foundation.
AIM? To inspire, support and motivate young photographers and filmmakers in the pursuit of their creative goals and careers.

Rules
1. The competition is free to enter to all students aged 13-19 years within the uk
2. Photographers can enter up to 3 digital photographs in any category
3. All entries must be submitted between 1st june 2017 and 30th oct 2017
4. Entries must be photographer’s own work
5. Entries must be in jpeg format
6. Entries will only be accepted via jjfoundation2017.wetransfer.com
7. The decision of the judges is final
8. Images must have been taken in 2016/17
9. Winners will be announced in nov 2017
10. Photographs selected for exhibition will be required to complete a model release form in the portraits and fashion categories
11. Photographers agree that their submitted work may be exhibited by jj media and eastside educational trust
12. The photographer warrants that they are the sole owner and author of each entry, including copyright copyright of the image.
13. Each category winner will have their photograph(s) professionally printed and exhibited at jj media/eastside
14. The overall winners will receive:

International Open Call - Duo/Solo Show in Rome:
We are looking for two photographers to be featured in our summer exhibition in Millepiani in Rome. The theme is open for this edition. We seek photographers with personal and compelling ways of seeing. We look for work that moves beyond familiar aesthetics and well-worn visual trends, without the need to conform to a specific tone, genre, or model. What matters most is a distinct perspective capable of shifting how we engage with images and ideas we may think we already know.
