The Boston Society of Architects/AIA is for everyone interested in architecture and the built environment.
Description
Architects, architectural educators, and architecture students throughout the world are invited to submit real or theoretical projects.Eligibility
Unbuilt architectural designs of any project type are eligible including purely theoretical projects and unbuilt client-sponsored projects (buildings, interiors, transportation infrastructure, monuments, etc.—all project types). Projects under construction or otherwise apparently assured of construction are not eligible.
Projects that have been honored in this program in past years and work by the design professionals serving as jurors this year (or by their firms) are not eligible.
Project description requirements
Describe your project in 250 words or fewer, using English. Descriptions should include responses to the following, as applicable:
- Program; your solutions to unique design challenges and special constraints
- Sustainable elements, including relevant information about regional climates and plans to measure energy data
- Accessible/universal design elements
- Urban context (links to public transportation, public facilities)
- Other information useful to the jury
