Vega Digital Awards is an international competition poised to honor excellence in the planning & execution of digital communications.

Categories:
Vega Digital Awards categories include Website, Apps & Softwares, Video, Audio/Podcast, 360/VR, Games, Digital Marketing, Social Media, and many more.

Eligibility:
The Vega Awards is open to all digital media companies and organizations, regardless of size, from sole proprietors on up – and from everywhere on the globe.

Submission Requirement:
Entries must be produced within the last TWO (2) calendar years up through the final deadline.
All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The Vega Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.
The awards reserve the right to re-categorize incorrectly classified entries.
Judges reserve the right to withhold an award in a category if submissions do not meet their expectations.

Entry Brief:
It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. We suggest you utilize this section of your entry to elaborate on the piece, as well as the creativity and originality of your idea. The brief should strengthen your entry, whilst providing the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.


Image Submission

The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).

2024 Entry Deadline & Fees:
Early Bird: 17 Nov 2023 — 5 Jan 2024 ($115 - $185)
Regular: 6 Jan 2024 — 8 Feb 2024 ($125 - $195)
Final: 9 Feb 2024 — 6 Mar 2024 ($135 - $205)
Final Extension: 7 Mar 2024 — 11 Apr 2024 ($145 - $215)

Winning Level:
There are THREE (3) levels of achievement in the competition:

PLATINUM (Canopus): 85-100 points
GOLD (Centauri): 70-84 points
SILVER (Arcturus): 50-69 points


Judging:
Judging is blind. All entrant information is removed from entries to prevent bias/conflict of interest.

The prestige of the Vega Awards competition relies in large part on the high caliber of the juries that convene each year to review submissions. Vega Digital Awards has made a special effort to find a suitable panel of judges whose works exemplify the qualities of a Muse. The jury panel comprised of experienced professionals in their field and industry, including private, public, institutional, and academic practice, and exemplify diversity in professional experience, geography, gender, and ethnicity. All judges are selected based on experience, availability and credibility to their respective industry.

Evaluation Criteria:
Individual criteria differ by category, but the emphasis is on the overall quality of the brand, relative to the judges' experience and the claims in other submissions, as well as the quality of the narrative itself.

Judges score on a scale of 1-100, based on the below criteria according to each program:

Audio: Content, quality of craft, overall experience
Video/Online Video: Concept/writing, quality of craft, integration, impact, and overall experience
Website: Visual design, content, structure and navigation/functionality, interactivity, and overall experience
Mobile Apps/Sites: Content, structure and navigation/functionality, visual design, interactivity, and overall experience
Digital Marketing: Creativity, impact, innovation, integration, and overall experience
Social Content & Marketing/Social Campaign & Series: Content, reach, creativity, engagement, and overall experience
Owned Media: Creativity, impact, execution, innovation, and overall experience
Virtual Reality & 360 Video: Concept/writing, quality of craft, integration, immersion, and overall experience
Video Channels & Networks: Content, technical execution, execution, and overall experience


Results Announcement:
All 2024 Winners will be announced on May 31, 2024 via Vega Awards official page. All registered participants can then login to see the winning works.

Prizes:
One professionally designed certificate commemorating the winning entry, which includes entry title, entering company/winners' name and category. Decal will be affixed indicating the level of win.
Top tier (Platinum and Gold) winners will be featured on Vega Awards site's Gallery, where professionals can view your work.
A press release template sent to major industry outlets, celebrating your win.
Professionally designed logos for use on websites, in email signatures, etc.
In addition to the complimentary certificates, Platinum, Gold, and Silver winners may purchase beautiful Vega Awards statuettes, and/or additional customized certificates.
Platinum and Silver winners will get featured by Vega on social media or our media partner on Muse.World’s website.
