About me

Cristina Mota Capitão (Degree in Agronomic Engineering, School of Agriculture - University of Lisbon) is the coordinator of the BOOST area - Entrepreneurship and Business Development at INOVISA (www.inovisa.pt). During the last 8 years she is working in the incubation process of tech-based start-ups and spin-offs of the agricultural, food and forestry sector. She was involved in the implementation of Rede INOVAR (www.redeinovar.pt), a Portuguese network created in 2011 with the mission of promoting a stimulating environment for knowledge and technology exchange between researchers, farmers, entrepreneurs and associative structures connected to the agricultural, food and forestry sector, at a national level. She is also external assistant of the master course Innovation and Entrepreneurship of ISA-ULisboa since 2009 and has coordinated several national and international collaborative projects related to entrepreneurship, business development, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer and digital communication of knowledge.
