ABOUT THE COMPETITIONCloth & Company is a new Chicago-made, customizable furniture company formed by industry veterans, Christiane Lemieux, former founder of DwellStudio, and Meganne Wecker, President and CCO of Skyline Furniture. Cloth & Company brings the fast fashion concept to the home, using digital printing technology to produce custom, welldesigned product at a rational price point that ships within six days. With a made-to-order business model and the most efficient textile production capabilities in the country, Cloth & Company has the freedom to produce endless collections. Setting a new standard in home design, the brand will be partnering with some of the country's most dynamic influencers, and has recently launched collections with Oh Joy! and Apartment Therapy.

Finalists and Winners:
Top 5 finalists will have a Cloth & Co chair produced and featured at Dwell on Design 2017, June 23-35 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Final winner will be selected from the top 5 finalists by a panel of judges onsite at Dwell on Design and their textile will be produced into a line of furniture and sold by Bed Bath & Beyond within a few weeks following the event. The winner will receive between 5-8% in sales.

Budget for Artwork:
Digital artwork required, no budget allotted
Cloth & Co. is seeking creative, up and coming artists to produce a textile fabric design. The initial textile will need to be designed specifically to produce into one of Cloth & Co.’s concept chairs.
Knowing the potential winner will have their textile implemented into a line of 5- 6 pieces of furniture, the designer should be able to envision their design onto multiple styles of furniture to create a fuller line.
Designers are asked to submit 2-3 textile design options as part of their submission.
