ArchMedium is dedicated to the organization of architectural competitions for students and young architects since 2009. We created a digital platform of architecture academic competitions under the same conditions as the professional competitions, in which a prestigious jury handles the entire process of choosing the winners. We see architecture as a technical discipline that transcends borders. The knowledge of it allows students to put it in practice what they have learned according to the needs of the site, following the words of Patrick Geddes “Think Global, Act Local.”

Barcelona Social Housing:
We propose the transformation of an existing office building from the 20th century to social housing.
Barcelona is going through a moment of housing emergency where 40% of the purchases of flats are made only to invest and the increase of tourist apartments exponentially increases the price of rents.

Rome Contemporary Chapel:
Rome accumulates in its streets thousand of years of history. Its rich culture, its people and the intense and vibrant activity turn it into a reference world capital. For this reason, ARCHmedium proposes to rethink spiritual and worship spaces in the cities. One only temple for the dialogue of all religions, a common place for all creeds. Rome Contemporary Chapel aims to be a place of encounter, a space for dialogue and hope for peace in a complex world.

Sydney rehearsal follies:
The competition groups two programs related to music and the scenic arts. Our team elaborated the program based on the needs of diffusion of the music school activities and the will to spread culture around the park.
Sidney Rehearsal Follies is meant to be an open intervention based on culture at one of the central points of the Australian city of Sydney.
