AWR Competitions organizes international contests in architecture, interior design, industrial design and urban planning.AWR is pleased to invite designers of all disciplines (architecture, engineering, design) to take part individually or in groups. This site is aimed to encourage all designers to pursue their ideas and showcase their talent, in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. We believe that it is very important to continue research and test solutions on various issues of high relevance and complexity in architecture and in all other disciplines. Young designers are our greatest resource for future research, with enormous potential to express but little space to do it. AWR offers that space.

Pulpit rock church:
AWRcompetition proposes the design of a new temporary church in the evocative site of Preikestolen better known as the Pulpit Rock, Norway. Design a place of worship requires a careful study of the theme. In these magnificent places, which have always inspired the minds of architects and engineers in every age, nothing is left to chance. Any material or the choice of the type of the light inside the church, are just some of the issues that should be further explored.
