2017 DRIA open competition:
The inaugural 2017 DRIA International Open Competition is organised by the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. It encourages participants to propose innovative WATER SOLUTIONS at the urban planning, urban design, architecture, building technology or the industrial design scales to tackle the challenge of 'DROUGHTS & WATER SCARCITY' in our cities, neighborhoods and communities.

Dria International Design Competition 2016:
The design competition encourages foresighted urban and architectural design proposals, as well as, promotes innovation in building technologies to insure a community’s resiliency particularly prior to and during a disastrous water-based event, such as, flooding. The speculative proposals can engage with design, technology, and policies that connect the physical and the social aspects of a community to promote its resiliency in light of a disastrous flood.

Vertical Cities Asia Competition:
"Everyone contributes" is inspired by the symbiotic structure of the ecological system where the functioning of every organism contributes to supporting and sustaining the wellbeing of the ecology. The theme emphasizes the idea of community, networks, resource sharing, circular economy, collaboration, adaptability and resilience. It examines instrumental dynamics between agencies and communities at place-making and enriching the quality of life.
