The FL3TCH3R Exhibit Call for Entries 2017:
The FL3TCH3R Exhibit is an annual multi-national juried exhibit focused on socially and politically engaged art. Socially and politically engaged art has been integral in creative expression since the beginning of visual arts. This exhibition explores the current trends and trajectory in this field and these collective creative works hopefully serve as an avenue or agent for societal transformation and exposure of social and political points of view.

The FL3TCH3R Exhibit 2018:
The FL3TCH3R Exhibit is pleased to announce Internationally Renowned Designer, David Carson, as its 2018 juror! In 2009, senior East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Art & Design student Fletcher Dyer was in a fatal motorcycle accident. In 2012, an art exhibition illustrating timely–and timeless –social and political issues was established in Fletcher’s memory due to his passionate interest drawing attention to contemporary issues. Exhibit at ETSU Reece Museum- Johnson City, TN- 10/8-12/14/18.

The 2021 9th Annual FL3TCH3R EXHIBIT is an international juried exhibit focused on socially & politically engaged art. These collective creative works serve as an avenue for societal transformation & exposure of social & political points of view.The goal is to recognize & advance this endeavor by providing a venue for the exhibition of socially & politically engaged art. The exhibit’s proceeds after expenses fund the Fletcher H. Dyer Scholarship for an Art & Design Student.

7th Annual International Juried 2019 FL3TCH3R EXHIBIT:
The FL3TCH3R Exhibit is pleased to announce Internationally known printmaker and author Sue Coe as its 2019 juror! In 2009, senior East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Art & Design student Fletcher Dyer had a fatal motorcycle accident. An art exhibition illustrating timely–and timeless –social and political issues was established in 2012 celebrating Fletcher’s memory due to his passionate interest in contemporary issues. 8th Annual International Juried 2020 FL3TCH3R EXHIBIT:
The international “FL3TCH3R Exhibit: Social & Politically Engaged Art” at East TN State Univ.’s Reece Museum never fails to reflect the social and political milieu and zeitgeist of the country and world. The 2020 exhibit calls for entries & runs Oct. 5-Dec. 11, will follow suit, with virtual, as well as on-ground, programming. The 2020 juror will be Carlton Wilkinson, a Nashville-based photographer former faculty Vanderbilt U./UNC, Wilmington/Fisk University and proprietor of Wilkinson Arts.
