Give a Park Get a Park Design Competition in Detroit: The City of Detroit, in partnership with the Knight Foundation, seeks ambitious, multidisciplinary design teams to join residents in developing a new park in one of Detroit’s vibrant neighborhoods. Come to Detroit this summer/fall and be a part of a new landscape-based revitalization strategy! First place design winners will receive a prize of $10,000 and have their park design implemented by the City of Detroit.

Natian Cup International Design Competition : The contemporary urban landscape relies largely on the creation and regeneration of public spaces, which then reflect on the beauty of cities. The identity of urban spaces is created through infrastructures, sculptures, buildings, land, vegetation and any element that is capable of representing the essence of place and culture. Pleasant and comfortable urban ecological environment and interesting urban public spaces have undoubtedly become one of the main driving forces of urban development.

The Brno Trade Fairs and its Surroundings: The subject of the competiiton is an urban design idea proposal for the Trade Fairs Brno site and part of the Brno wateworks connected to adjacent terminal and Riviera recreation area, which will show new way of using the development areas and the possibilities of the better integration of the complex to the city organism. The proposal in the scope of the urban study will be processed on the entire territory in accordance with the competition brief.

52nd Central Glass Competition: Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition will contribute to the development of the architectural world through the competition. We wish this competition will be an opportunity to think of desirable society and environment at the present day in which pursuit of economic efficiency and rationality as well as preservation of natural environment and conservation of historic and traditional culture is required.

Cities For A Flying World: The aim of the competition is to promote discussion and research in order to generate insights and visions about the city to come, and to contribute to the development of flying technologies that will transform our environment in future. The contest will take place from 29 May to 7 November 2017 and it is a part of the new master’s programme of the Graduate School of Urbanism Prototyping future cities: city and technology. The results of the contest would be announced on 7 November 2017.

INSPIRELI Award 2017: INSPIRELI AWARDS is the largest international architecture competition enabling new talents to tell their stories and raise awareness about their own world view before they get their chance to build it. It brings together up-and-coming design and architecture students or recent graduates, as well as established professionals, and provides them a forum to connect to the general public. Contestants enter works in one of two categories: Vision for conceptual works and Realisation for already built.
