Description
The Lighthouse CompetitionA design competition for a sculptural tower of light on the beach in Paphos.
The Lighthouse competition involves the design of an un-manned structure with a light-source to act as a focal point for the area.
The structure may be constructed from any material, and innovation is and unusual formal expression is encouraged. The only requirement is that the light-source is accessible for maintenance. The 'Lighthouse' should be positioned anywhere along Geroskipou Beach in Paphos, Cyprus.

The winning entry will be constructed after consultation and agreement with local landowners and planning officials.All entries will be exhibited at the Cyprus School of Architecture in an open public event in July 2018. The entries will also be published in-print and online.
